Discovering the geography of Barcelona through design for Callebaut Ambassadors’ Seminar.
We worked with noted pastry chef, Josep Maria Ribé, on a project for couverture chocolate manufacturer, Callebaut, alongside their team of ambassadors.
The aim of the project was to design an exclusive, limited edition packaging to surprise Callebaut’s team of ambassadors, upon their visit to Barcelona during the International Seminar 2014.
The team of ambassadors are experimental chefs, motivated by new discoveries. The packaging we designed contains four dragée recipes inspired by our four landscapes (the sea, the mountains, the city and the countryside). These were then it’s divided in four boxes with dimensions calculated by the % those environments actually take up: (21% sea, 30% mountain, 6% city and 43% countryside.).
We wanted to invite the ambassadors to discover the geographical wealth of Barcelona with all their senses.
This project won the Silver Award in the ADG Laus Awards for Graphic Design and Visual Communication in 2015.
